Help!? Is my friend a sociopath?

Sounds a lot like a sociopath especially the part where you say that he's taking you from friends and family. That is their basic goal to take something or win. The best thing to do is definitely to just get out of the relationship. Don't try to help him with therapy that only helps him to become worse.
