When Rumsfeld said flight 93 was "SHOT DOWN"...did he really mean to say "heroes overtook the hijackers"?

ha ha. yes. that's what he meant. they should all take a copy of the "official 9/11 story" around with them because they are always getting into trouble like this... They're horrible people but they make me laugh sometimes.
